Where does the snow come from?

Where does the snow come from?

Snow is born in the clouds much higher in the sky.

In the cloud, small particles of water freeze and become ice cubes. Then, water vapor in the air adheres around the ice particles and gradually grows larger and larger. This is called a snowflake.
As the snowflakes fall to the ground, they attach water vapor around them and become larger and larger as they fall.
In other words, the answer is that snow falls from the clouds in the sky.
