Why does rain melt when you lick it?

In addition to candy, there are many other sweet foods such as chocolate, cakes, biscuits, yokans, and puddings.
Sugar is a common ingredient in all of these sweets.
In the case of candy, in particular, it is made almost entirely from sugar.
Sugar is heated and transformed into candy, so when you put it in your mouth, the temperature in your mouth and the stickiness of the spit will gradually heat the candy, causing it to melt. Since the candy is made of only sugar, even the heat of a person's body temperature will cause the candy to melt. In other words, the reason why the candy melts when licked is because the body heat is transmitted to the candy when it is licked.
