The snowman is real.

The snowman is real.

There is a famous story about the snowman. It was seen by an Englishman who climbed the Himalayas in 1889. This one even has a photo of his footprints.

Unfortunately, however, it is not clear from the footprints alone. When people talk about the Himalayan snowman, they are usually referring to this Himalayan snowman. However, although there are stories of seeing this Himalayan snowman, there are no stories of catching him. It has been more than 100 years since the first sighting, yet his true identity is not known at all. Therefore, we can neither say that the Snowman exists nor that he does not exist. If the real Yukio is caught or his body is found, we will know for sure. For now, however, we can only say that we do not know.
There are many stories around the world of seeing creatures that look more like hairy gorilla ghosts than snow men. These seem to be most common in the United States, Canada, and China.
Even in Japan, there was once a controversial story about a creature living deep in the mountains of Hiba-gun, Hiroshima Prefecture, which caused quite a stir.
However, although there are many similar stories all over the world, not a single animal has been caught, nor have any corpses or feces been found.
It would be very interesting if such an animal really existed. However, the fact that we have searched for such a long time without finding one suggests that it is more likely than not that they are not there.
