An event is an "entertainment. A birthday party at home with friends, a shopping district festival, a music concert, the Olympics. The scale and purpose may vary, but they are all events. The job of an event producer is to take orders from customers who want to hold such events and direct the entire event. A job similar to that of an event producer is that of an "event planner," whose role is to plan the kind of event to be held. The event producer's role is to actually manage the event planner's plan. However, depending on the event, the event producer may be responsible for both planning and management, so the event producer must also have the ability to plan the event. They need to be able to develop ideas based on a lot of information and to persuade people through discussions with various parties. There are no special qualifications to become an event producer. This is the only certification for professionals that requires practical experience in event management. The "Sports Event Certification" teaches the effectiveness and management of sports events. The Universal Event Certification Test is designed to provide basic knowledge and skills for creating events that can be enjoyed by everyone, regardless of age, gender, nationality, or disability. The three certifications, which do not require any work experience to qualify, will be useful for students and people with limited work experience to improve their skills.

As long as there are events, the work of event producers involved in their management will not disappear. In fact, there will be more and more opportunities to manage events not only in the real world, but also in virtual spaces created in PCs and on the Internet. Currently, the "metaverse," a service provided in virtual space, is attracting attention. People who play there participate as their own alter ego character, called an avatar, and enjoy conversations among avatars and shopping at stores in the virtual space. Unlike the real world, people from all over the world can easily participate, and the number of customers who want to hold events for such metaverse participants is expected to increase. In the future, we may end up working on science fiction-like events that go back and forth between the real world and the virtual world.

The average annual salary is 5.14-6.3 million yen. Experience is important, so depending on how much experience you have and your job skills, you can aim for a higher income.
