Calculator Proficiency Test

Once you learn how to use all the buttons perfectly, you will be able to solve complicated "calculations" in no time! Let's make full use of this useful tool!
Surprisingly few people know how to use it.
The Calculator Proficiency Test tests how fast and accurate calculations can be made on a calculator, and is designed for people who want to acquire the skills to use a calculator as a more useful tool.
There is no one who has never used a calculator. It should be a piece of cake for everyone to learn how to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. All you have to do is press the buttons for numbers and symbols in order.
However, if you take a closer look at a calculator, you may wonder, "What are these buttons for? But if you take a closer look at the calculator, you may find that some of the buttons in the rows are not used for anything. There must be some buttons that you have never touched because you don't know how to use them.
A calculator is packed with useful functions. However, most people do not know how to use even half of them. It would be a waste to leave them as they are.
Make full use of memory to become a master calculator!
What is useful to know is the "memory" function, which allows the calculator to "remember" the calculated answer. This is a calculation technique unique to calculators that uses buttons such as "MT," "MR," and "GT.
Once you have mastered the memory function, it is easy to solve five equations, for example, "XX + XX", and then add all five answers at the end. You can do the calculations in succession without having to take notes each time you get an answer. If you master the technique further, you will be able to perform complicated calculations that use fractions with ease.
There are various levels of the Calculator Proficiency Test, from Level 7 to Dan, and passing Level 3 or higher is a plus when seeking employment. The Japan Calculator Proficiency Test Association also offers a correspondence course, so it is a good idea to take advantage of it.
