TOEIC Bridge(R)
This test is a "bridge" to the TOEIC(R) test for adults. This test is suitable for beginners and intermediate learners who have just started studying English, so feel free to challenge yourself!

The TOEIC(R) test is taken by working adults and university students who use English in their work to test their ability. Its introductory version, TOEIC Bridge(R), was newly created in 2001 in response to the demand for a test that is "easier," "more everyday and familiar," and "shorter in time" than TOEIC(R).
The questions are mainly geared toward beginning and intermediate learners from junior high school to university students. In contrast to TOEIC, which focuses on business English, most of the questions in TOEIC Bridge(R) are familiar from everyday life. The number of questions and duration of the test are also halved, and the reading speed is slightly slower than that of TOEIC. If you find TOEIC(R) a little too difficult, this test is just right for you.

The questions on the TOEIC Bridge(R) are in the areas of Listening (listening) and Reading (reading). In addition to the "Listening Score," "Reading Score," and "Total Score," the test results are evaluated in five sub-scores: "Language Function," "Listening Skills," "Reading Skills," "Vocabulary," and "Grammar.
No matter how good their scores are on school tests, few Japanese can actually use English. In order to change this situation, an increasing number of schools are incorporating TOEIC Bridge(R) into their curriculum to help students learn "usable English. Although it is a new test, it is expected to gain more and more popularity.
