Private qualifications Trimmer

A "dog hairdresser" requires both physical strength and knowledge. A trimmer's work ranges from caring for a dog's entire body to health care!
Even rambunctious and snarling dogs are customers!
A "trimmer," so to speak, is a dog hairdresser. Unlike human hair stylists, however, their job is to take care of the dog's entire body, including nail and skin care and ear cleaning, in addition to cutting and shampooing. They may also receive advice from dog owners on breeding and health care. To give proper advice, knowledge of dog ecology and nutrition is also necessary.
The actual workplace is quite different from the "fashionable image" that people have of dog care. Dogs are not docile like humans, and some of them are large breeds weighing more than 40 kilograms. Some of the dogs are large breeds weighing 40 kilograms or more. It takes a lot of physical strength to deal with such a variety of "customers" while standing all day long. And since I have to use scissors, I have to maintain my concentration as well.
I want to choose my school carefully.
There are roughly two courses of study to become a trimmer. The first is to start working at a pet store and train as a trimmer. Trimmers can work without qualifications, so it is possible to hone one's skills on the job and become a full-fledged trimmer.
The other course is to acquire qualifications at a school. There is no unified qualification system in Japan yet, but the largest of these is the "trimmer" qualification authorized by the Japan Kennel Club, which is obtained by attending a training school for one to two years.
Even now, as elementary and junior high school students, they can get a feel for what kind of work it is by obtaining information on the Internet and talking to active trimmers.
