monocycle

Unicycling is a familiar circus activity. It may look difficult, but it is an easy, total-body workout that helps develop a sense of balance. Get the hang of it and ride freely.
Very safer than it looks.
Unicycling is an easy sport that anyone can enjoy. It is a great full-body workout that can be done in a small space and in a short amount of time, and helps students develop a sense of balance, reflexes, and concentration while playing. Currently, more than 90% of elementary schools in Japan have unicycles.
Although the appearance of unicycling may make some people think, "Isn't it dangerous?" But in fact, it is a very safe vehicle. If you pedal forward, you go forward; if you pedal backward, you go backward. Since you have to pedal to go forward, your feet will not be scooped off the ground like roller skates. When falling down, the wheels run back and forth, and the rider always lands on his or her feet, making this sport less likely to cause injury.
There are two types of unicycle skill certification tests: one for the general public and one for elementary school students (from Level 10 to Level 1). Upon passing each level, participants receive a certificate and a badge (or medal).
There is a racing division and an acting division.
There are two competition categories in unicycling. One is the racing category. There is also a full unicycle marathon of 42.195 km.
The other is the performance category. In this category, single, pairs, and groups perform to music, competing in creativity and artistry.
Elementary and junior high school students will be able to ride without assistance after practicing one hour a day for three to four days. Once they start practicing, they will be enthusiastic about the sport until they can ride it well.
